Cost: $350.00 (meals and accommodations included)
If you do not have a Jembe drum you can order a Remo Jembe to use at the retreat then bring home with you at the end of the weekend. This is an extra cost.
Drums will be there for you to use.

Kim has studied various styles of drumming and expressive arts for over seventeen years and has been facilitating drum circles for over ten. She has facilitated drum circles for various adult groups and schools in her community. Kim is also a visual artist creating Lotus Flower Mandalas that have been purchased by clients in various parts of the world.
We will be focusing on the African Jembe
You will also have a total body mind and spirit work out through a vigorous morning Expressive Dance workout. Evening is spent journaling and for quiet time to contemplate the day's events.
Required to bring:
• pen and journal to record thoughts
• African Jembe drum (if you have it)
• comfortable clothing for dance and drum sessions ... you don't want to wear restrictive clothing ... wear
something that breathes and moves with you
• sarape and skirt for sacred opening and closing of the circle (for the women participants)
• an item to place on the drum altar • drums will be there for you to use if you don't have one
• you can order a drum (a remo jembe or remo buffalo drum to use to use at the retreat and take home with you
(this is a separate cost to the retreat ... these drums need to be ordered ahead of time ... at least one month ... you must pay for the drum when it is ordered.
• be prepared to drum!!! We will be drumming for lengthy time periods with only short breaks to lock into the rhythm groove and increase the energy of the circle
Remo Jembe Prices
• This is a list of the Remo Jembes that the participants can order before the beginning of the retreat.
• The drums need to be ordered at least two months before the retreat begins. They will be shipped to Kim's address and be at the retreat ready for you.
• The drums must be paid for when the participant orders it.
• Shipping and Handling not included ... expect to have this cost added on to the drum.
