Sitting with bubs twiddling your fingers or on your umpteenth round of Old MacDonald?  Come out and party with Becca and Zeus!  Babies love dancing and music, and we've got just what the doctor ordered.  Stretches for you, fun for them, and a calming wind-down to get ready for that afternoon nap.  Bring a baby carrier if you have one.  Grandparents & nannies welcome too!

Drawing on the disciplines of Authentic Movement, Somatic Education, Action Theatre, Contact Improvisation and Contemporary Dance, students are invited to participate in an exploration of embodiment ranging from meditative to playful.  Inner and outer worlds of motion will be examined (how it looks, how it feels), as well as what may lie in between....we'll work individually and as a group to refine a movement vocabulary which is interesting, diverse and useful.  Suitable for all ages and mobilities.

Delivering cardiovascular, whole-body conditioning, practiced barefoot to music, Nia is self-guided, adaptable, and safe for any fitness level.  It’s a fun way to stretch and strengthen, relieve stress and increase grace and balance.

Osho Meditation:  This 60 minute class was created by Osho. (Osho is a mystic/yogi who lives in India and created a well known ashram there). This meditation uses music and various forms of movement or sound. These meditations can bring you into deep, peaceful, inner silence. It is suitable for all levels of participation and can be done standing, sitting or lying down.

Power Yoga:  This 75 minute class is more aerobic with asanas done at a more rigorous pace.  All levels of ability are welcome; just do what feels right for you.

Restorative Yoga: This class will concentrate on restoring balance and healthy energy flow in the body and mind through gentle and supported asana (body postures), pranayama (breath control exercises), meditation and relaxation.

Rise N Shine:  This 75 minute Yoga class is a great way to start the day.  Perfect for all levels of ability.

Tai Chi: is a centuries-old Chinese exercise. All age groups can practice these non-strenuous, soft, flowing and relaxing movements to regain natural health and remain in good physical condition. Tai Chi will render the mind clear and peaceful. Tai Chi embodies the Chinese philosophy of the “Supreme Ultimate”. The rhythmic exercises reflect the principle of wholeness in which opposites are balanced as Yang and Yin: male & female, light & dark, firm & soft, active & passive, positive & negative, power and the yielding of it. Since the whole body is utilized in each movement, every joint is loosened and exercised. This can have a very beneficial effect on degenerative conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Tai Chi is a gentle respiratory therapy for breathing disorders such as asthma. Proper breathing ensures oxygen rich blood, which nourishes every cell, tissue and organ of the body. Tai Chi is known for its ability to help lower and control high blood pressure. Like all exercise Tai Chi strengthens the immune system.

Tango: A fun class exploring the essence and dynamics of moving with a partner - not necessary to bring your own! Open to all levels of experience; whether you’ve been dancing for years or have just begun, you’re likely to find yourself moving with an unexpected grace and a smile on your face.  Combining basics of weight exchange, gravitational awareness, directional access, rotation, torsion, musicality and play, we’ll grow an understanding of tango rooted in somatic awareness.  Each month will focus on a different topic - regular attendance will be of benefit but is not mandatory.
No partner, skill, or special shoes required.  All ages and genders.

Vipassana Mindfulness Meditation:  Awaken your heart and mind in this 2 hour session with a 45 minute guided sitting meditation, Dharma Talk ( teachings regarding Vipassana Mindfulness Meditation and suggestions for taking this practice into our daily lives) and time for questions and discussion.
