  • Where is Sugar Ridge?
  • What can I expect?
    • Great food, comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings, wildlife, peace, and happy people to serve you.
  • Are you open Year Round?
    • Yes.  Sugar Ridge is a year round facility and offers something different for each season.   The cabins and the retreat centre are heated.
  • What do I need to bring?
  • What are the accommodations like?
  • Can I stay without being part of a group retreat?
    • Yes, but if there is a group retreat in session you must be mindful of the possible need for silence while they are in sessions. The B&B is also an option when groups are here   Individual Retreats
  • How do I make a reservation?
    • Call Liz or send an email: info@sugarridge.ca
  • Do we accept donations?
    • Yes but we're not a charity or non-profit (yet).  We put the money towards paying for someone to join a retreat.
  • Do you have gift certificates?
    • Yes.  We can issue a gift certificate for a specific retreat , B&B or a valued amount.  If you are ordering a gift certificate at Christmas please allow time for mailing.
  • Are gratuities included?
    • Gratuities are not included nor are they expected.  Since there are people who would like to take part in a retreat and are unable to at this time due to financial restriction, we will allocate any gratuities/donations towards this fund.
  • How do I get there?
  • Can I carpool?
    • If you need a ride or are able to provide a ride to Sugar Ridge, please indicate this when you book your stay with us.  We will place you in contact with others.  We cannot, however, guarantee a carpool.  There are links to bus service to Wyebridge and we would be happy to pick you up there if required.  Please schedule this with us in advance.
  • How can my family, friends reach me when I am there?
    • Your family and friends can call Sugar Ridge (705-528-1793 or 866-609-1793) and leave a message for you.  If you are in a session we will ensure that you receive your message once your session is complete.  If it is an emergency we will contact you immediately. Since we have only one line for guest usage we ask that you limit the length of your calls if you need to use the phone during your stay.  We also ask that cell phone usage be kept to a minimum in order to respect the retreat process.
  • Do you have internet access?
    • Yes we do.  It's wireless in teh retreat center but not available in most cabins. Guests can access the internet using the private guest office.
  • Do you have television?
    • There is no cable or satelite television at the retreat centre, but B&B guests have access to one in the house. The retreat centre has a TV and DVD player to be used by facilitators if needed in presentations etc.
