Dog Days of Summer Weekend Yoga Retreat with Liz Frost

Friday, July 28 – Sunday, July 30, 2017

Chill with your pooch over this weekend retreat.

Bob loungingEnjoy some off leash adventure in the country.  You will enjoy outdoor yoga, long forest walks and water fun at the beach.  With your dog in tow for every activity you both have fun.

This is a weekend to relax deeply, breath fresh air and escape the city.

Throughout the weekend you are invited to explore various forms of mindfulness meditations (vipassana) including sitting, walking and eating as well as mindful movement through yoga, keeping in mind that everything is optional.

No experience with yoga or meditation is necessary and this retreat is perfect
if you’re curious about it but not sure how to start or what to expect.

You don’t have to have a dog to join this retreat but you need to love them since there will be several with you for outdoor activities.  No dogs in the studio though.

Everything over the weekend is completely optional. Participate in whatever activities you wish. If a massage is the nurturing you need, we can book that for you. Allow this weekend to be the kindest gift you could ever give yourself and honour your needs.

We have very few rules for the dogs that attend and here they are:  Dogs must be well-behaved and not jump on people or furniture.  It is expected that all dogs will be well groomed and have flea protection in place.  Dogs are not allowed in the studio so when the humans are in a meditation or yoga session inside, it’s expected that the dogs will be in their cabins, otherwise they’re welcome to be in the centre.

The centre is set quite far back from the road and the property is not fenced.  Unless your dog is an independent runner, the dogs usually form a pack quickly and stay by the centre enjoying the natural environment.
