Join Liz Frost for a day of summer celebration!

Summer Solstice marks the transition to summer and the warmth to come.

All levels are welcome to come and enjoy a wonderful
energizing day of relaxing paddle in the Wye Marsh, mindful meditation,
restorative yoga, walking meditation out in the clean forest air.

You will leave feeling energized after a day of relaxing!

Absolutely no experience or flexibility is required – If you’re breathing you’ll enjoy this day!

Sugar Ridge Fruit and VeggieBox

Your Day of Bliss includes:

  • 9:30 am  – arrive and relax with fresh juice
  • 10:00 am  Hike or drive to the Wye Marsh – walking meditation on the way: Breathe in the pure, fresh, country air
  • 11:15 – Canoe the marsh – mindful meditation on the water
      Still the mind to foster peace and joy within
  • 12:30 Return to Sugar Ridge (by car) for an incredibly yummy lunch, prepared with whole foods & plenty of love
  • 1:45 Restorative Yoga practice for deep relaxation
  • 3:15 Break
  • 3:30  Mindfulness Practice – meditation with instruction
  • 4:00  Loving Kindness Meditation
  • 4:30  pm Depart at your leisure
  • Take some bliss home with you!

The Sugar Ridge Retreat Centre was created to provide a place for people to reconnect with a part of themselves that may be neglected or hidden, to connect with others or just getaway and have some fun! Meet Your Teachers

Liz Frost

 

Liz Frost M.A. Ed, is a mindfulness coach, certified yoga teacher and psychotherapist in the Midland area. She has studied with Jon Kabat Zinn and Saki Santorelli of the Centre for Mindfulness, Norman Feldman, Lee Lesser and most recently with Shinzen Young.

Liz began her yoga journey as a form of meditation, having found meditation before yoga, and she incorporates mindfulness into yoga practice. She is co-owner of Sugar Ridge and devotes her time and energy to making the world a more peaceful place.
