Reiki Weekend Retreat with Karen Armstrong

Friday, March 16 – Sunday, March 18, 2018

This reiki retreat is hosted by Reiki Master, Karen Armstrong and supported by her initiated reiki masters, Karen Dorland and Pam Rimmer along with Corinne Penstone. Our retreats are filled with time to explore and deepen our practice, compassion for each other’s journey and fun and playful interactions. There are optional activities including:

  • creative arts and journaling sessions
  • an introduction to a new program called “bones for life”
  • gentle yoga movement or you may just want to join the space and listen to the live music.
  • A photo share of Karen’s recent trip to Japan – the birthplace of our reiki practice.
  • Outdoor walks on the trails.

Everyone will have a turn receiving reiki and giving reiki.

Our theme for this retreat is based around the roots of this practice being an “Oral Tradition”. We will share reiki stories and our own stories. It is always a nurturing and rejuvenating time.

Facilitators

Karen Armstrong – as founder of Inside Out, I have been practicing and teaching for 18 years. Reiki came to me during my 30’s when my life was in a whirlwind trying to balance my corporate job, family and life. It allowed me to find my truth which brought balance and the spiritual principles guide me in my life. Reiki takes care.

Karen Dorland – Reiki is my BLISS place. As I bring balance and awareness to the person on my table, I feel great calm as well. It is so awesome to tap even deeper into my intuition to give messages and healing to my client.
I am also an Image Consultant using my intuitive skills and knowledge of style to help women dress uniquely for who they are and to step into their possibilities with confidence. I offer Reiki to them as part of their sessions to help release stress. www.imageconnections.ca

Pam Rimmer – Bringing Reiki into my life has brought me great faith.  Practicing Reiki gives a calming aura, with patience and trust in the universe that surrounds me.  Before I became a Reiki Master I have always had a great love for creativity.  I love working in our garden and now in our new home up north planning and building gardens to attract birds with beautiful flowers and shrubs.  For the past 30 some years I have had a passion for creating quilts  and knitting scarves and sock of all types loving the colours, designs and fabrics and yarns.

Corinne Penstone – My free spirit, love of Yoga and Reiki, and passion for the art of living has allowed me to connect to the hearts of my students of all ages.  As the creatrix of Groove Yoga and Expressive Arts Company, I can elegantly combine the philosophy and practice of yoga with the magic and inspiration of the arts.  For more information or to read my full Bio, please visit www.YogaArtMusic.com
