Relax deeply with Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation)

Nurture your body with raw vegan food and fresh juices.

 Come for one night (on June 30th or July 1st) or stay for three nights!

Liz teaches a very gentle style of hatha yoga.  Any level of experience is welcome and no prior experience with yoga is necessary. 

You can do yoga sitting in a chair if you’re not comfortable on the floor.

Explore different forms of meditation and again, no experience is necessary.
  Your mind doesn’t need to go blank and you don’t ever have to stop thinking in order to meditate.

Schedule
Thursday (June 30th)
2 pm – Arrive and settle into your cabin
3pm – Gentle Hatha Yoga Class
4:30 – Forest Walk
6 pm – dinner
7:30 – Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation)
8:30 – Bonfire & star gazing

Friday July 1st & Saturday July 2nd
Sleep in!  or optional morning meditation at 8am
9am – Breakfast
10:30 – Hatha Yoga
12 pm – Lunch
Departing guests can linger and enjoy the property and depart at your leisure.

2 pm – new guests arrive and settle into your cabin
3pm – Gentle Hatha Yoga Class
4:30 – Forest Walk
6 pm – Dinner
7:30 – Yoga Nidra
8:30 – Bonfire & star gazing or Friday July 1 head into town and watch the local fireworks.  We’ll carpool for this.

Sunday (July 3rd)
Sleep in!  or optional morning meditation at 8am
9am – Breakfast
10:30 – Hatha Yoga
12 pm – Lunch on the patio, chill
Departing guests can linger and enjoy the property and depart at your leisure.

 

This retreat is perfect for you even if you have physical limitations to movement, little or no meditation or yoga experience.

Liz Frost M.A. Ed, is a mindfulness coach, certified yoga teacher and psychotherapist in the Midland area. She has studied with Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli of the Centre for Mindfulness, Norman Feldman, Lee Lesser and most recently with Shinzen Young.

Liz began her yoga journey as a form of meditation, having found meditation before yoga, and she incorporates mindfulness into yoga practice. She has been teaching yoga for 14 years and has been practicing meditation for 25 years.  Liz is co-owner of Sugar Ridge and devotes her time and energy to making the world a more peaceful place
