Spring Cleanse: Ayurveda, Meditation and Yoga Week Retreat

Sunday, April 7 – Friday, April 12, 2019

Get Inspired this week!

Discover the beauty, vitality, awakening and peace found in living a life with Ayurvedic wisdom, Yoga, Meditation and Nature, every day.

For thousands of years, the science of Ayurveda has provided the path to optimum well being by encompassing all aspects of being human: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Now more than ever we are seeking ways back to ourselves as the busy distractions of urban living increasingly disrupt our ability to live a healthy, balanced life.

The ancient wisdom of Ayurveda brings you back in contact with yourself using basic principles:  you are a part of nature, and the rhythms of nature operate with innate healing potential.   Ayurveda teaches you how to harmonize with the rhythms of nature and use this for your own health and healing.

This week will be a dive into Ayurvedic wisdom specifically for you.  Discover your constitution (dosha) and explore how to develop your unique lifestyle that supports your health and vibrancy.  Learn to use the power of food, movement, breath, nature and meditation to guide yourself towards a more conscious and creative way of life and living.

Explore how Ayurveda, with meditation and Yoga, can reveal the workings of your mind, emotions, and behaviours, leading you towards greater self-acceptance and peace within.

In addition to daily energizing and calming practices of Yoga and Meditation, Toni and Liz will share the common-sense wisdom of balanced living, exploring simple ways to move closer to physical, mental and emotional health and healing.

You will be eating, cooking, learning and listening to your inner guide throughout the six-day retreat.   Daily seminars will provide guidance on living according to your dosha, discussing daily routines (dinacharya), healing relationships with food, constitutionally specific exercise and meditation.   Daily cooking instruction focuses on foods specific for your dosha, for the season, for cleansing, for rejuvenating, for healing.

In the quiet and calm move inwards, and explore ancient wisdom to bring you into a more conscious future.

The science of Ayurveda recognizes the individuality of each person.  In doing so, the suggestions for diet, lifestyle, and environment are considered.  The goal of Ayurveda is to achieve optimum health via self-awareness and metabolic equilibrium for physical and mental well-being.
