The last few years have thrown us off kilter. For many of us, our healthy habits and rituals have been altered or lost completely. Both globally and as individuals, we have been left feeling disconnected, out of balance, and out of touch with our vital selves in the realms of nutrition, movement, mindset and lifestyle.

One of the best parts of being human however, is that every single day we are gifted with another opportunity to begin again; to move forward and in the direction of our most vibrant, healthful and dynamic selves…one moment at a time! It is never too late to begin again!

This week is a perfect blend of education, ritual, accountability, self-reflection, movement and community support. You will be surrounded by like-minded individuals who are also seeking their best self. This is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach, however. It is simply a safe space where all participants can explore unique ways of healthy living that aligns with their own needs, abilities and lifestyles.

Your retreat is led by Jenny Jackson, a health & wellness leader with over 20 years experience in fitness, yoga, coaching with a formal background in education and leadership. Your retreat includes a one-hour one-on-one session with Jenny to discuss your own goals and challenges.

All are welcome!!! No fitness level or experience with yoga or meditation is required:)

3-5pm             arrival & settle into your cabin
5pm                welcome circle & overview of week
6pm                dinner
7:30pm           gentle yoga & meditation for relaxation
Quinoa Salad

Monday-Thursday

7am                 meditation (exploring different styles daily)
7:30am            yoga practice (appropriate for all levels)
8:30am            breakfast (meal or smoothie, your choice)
9:30am            Lifestyle Workshop
11am               movement break
12:00pm          lunch (always Mindful Eating in Silence)
1:30pm            forest hike
2:30-4pm         free time/ one-on-ones with Jenny
4pm                 Mindfulness Workshop 
5:30pm            dinner
7pm                 Restorative yoga & relaxation

Friday

8am                yoga practice
9am                breakfast
10-11am         clean up & pack up
11:30am         closing circle
12:30pm         lunch

Departure at your leisure but stay as long as you wish!


Lifestyle Workshops will differ daily. Topics Include:

-The Power of Habits & Rituals
-What type of exercise is best for YOU?
-Ayurveda and Living Optimally
-Let’s talk Nutrition…what will work for YOU

Mindfulness Workshops will differ daily. Topics Include:

-Mindful Eating
-Mindful Self-Compassion
-Mindful of Body & Sensory Awareness
-Mindfulness in Movement

Movement Breaks will be opportunities for group exercise that is multi-levelled, inclusive and with many options…perfectly suitable for ALL levels of experience and state of wellness! We strive to make this a positive and welcoming activity for all! The types of classes offered may include:

-Pilates
-Core Connection
-Gentle Cardio & Bodyweight strength

Meet Your Facilitator

Jenny Jackson has been immersed in Movement Education for more than 20 years. She is a certified personal trainer, fitness instructor and yoga teacher. She is a school teacher experienced in elementary and post-secondary education. She holds a Health & Lifestyle Coaching certification from York University.

Jenny is a seeker of inner well-being, and she consciously aligns herself living with an open mind, an open heart and embodies joy & vitality which is reflected in her welcoming & inclusive style of instruction. She teaches with a strong anatomical influence while still deeply honouring the unique needs of all individuals. Jenny believes that feeling vital and in harmony with others & within our own selves is the primary goal (in life and in our bodies), and practice should reflect this.

Jenny is a cancer survivor, and considers this one of the greatest gifts life could offer. She treats every day as a blessing and takes nothing for granted.Expect well-planned, responsible, creative & intuitive guidance within Jenny’s classes and retreats. Trust that your needs will be supported and a sense of inclusion & community will always be a focus. Semi-Private Room $1,430 + HST per person for 5 night week (2 people per room)

Private Room $1,995 + HST per person for 5 night week for a room to yourself
