Balance Within - Three Day Yoga Retreat

Life is busy, busier than normal over this past year. 
Missing out on time with friends? 
Maybe too much time with your family:)

No one can juggle everything without dropping a ball occasionally.  This getaway let’s you rest from the stress of all that you do and allow yourself to be nurtured.  

This mid-week escape is an opportunity to take a break and recharge.  If you’re busy taking care of everyone else, you need time to yourself to step away and rest, reboot your system and take a couple days to think of no one but yourself.

A variety of classes are offered but they’re all optional.  Participate in whatever you feel like, sleep in if you want or book a massage.  Let this be time just for you!

No physical ability, no experience with yoga or meditation is required.

Tuesday, June 8
3:00 pm     Arrival & settle in to your cabin
4:00           Meet and greet in the studio
4:15           Yang/Yin Energy Balancing Yoga
5:30           Dinner
7:00           Evening Relaxation – Group Activity in the studio
 
Wednesday, June 9
7:30 am     Gentle Sunrise Flow Yoga 
9:00           Breakfast
10:00         Guided Forest Hike
11:00         Yoga Strong – a gentle fusion of yoga and light weights to enhance strengthening
12:30 pm   Lunch and free time
2:30           Group Discussion & practice – Energy Balancing through Pranayama (yogic breathing techniques)
4:00           Guided Meditation
4:30           Yin & Restore Yoga
6:00           Dinner
7:00           Singing Bowls – a musical meditation & Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation)
 
Thursday, June 10
7:00 am     Mindful Movement Pilates Fusion
8:00           Yin/Yang Yoga
9:00           Breakfast
11:00         Energy Balancing Chakra Meditation

Meet Your Facilitator

Jenny Jackson has been immersed in Movement Education for more than 20 years. Jenny is a seeker of inner well-being, and she consciously aligns herself living with an open mind, an open heart, and embodies joy & vitality which is reflected in her welcoming & inclusive style of instruction. She teaches with a strong anatomical influence while still deeply honouring the classical roots of yoga. Jenny believes that feeling vital and in harmony with others & within our own selves is the primary goal (in life and in our bodies), and practice should reflect this.

Expect well-planned, responsible, creative & intuitive instruction within Jenny’s classes and retreats. Trust that your needs will be supported and a sense of inclusion & community will always be a focus. Jenny takes her offerings (but not herself) very seriously, so you can relax and be yourself as she leads with humour and vulnerability.

Jenny is a certified and experienced schoolteacher, yoga teacher, personal trainer, group fitness coach, and Health & Wellness coach. She is a cancer survivor, mom of 3 and bilingual in English and French. She is the founder of Body Balanced Wellness, which offers registered Yoga Teacher Training Programs, both online & in person.

Tuition

$465 + HST for shared accommodation (up to 4 people of the same gender in a cabin)

$545 + HST Semi-private (just 2 people in your cabin)

$625 + HST Private cabin (just you in a cabin)

With social distancing protocols in place, you will need to book semi-private or private accommodation if you are attending as a single.  If you are coming with someone you can share with please book semi-private (2 ppl) or shared (3 – 4 ppl) accordingly.  Max group size will be determined by the gathering limits allowed at the time of the retreat.
