Begin Again: A Day Retreat with Jenny & Athena

Thursday, March 10 –

Each day truly is a gift. Over and over we are offered an opportunity to begin again. Take this day away from the hustle and bustle of the ‘everyday’ in order to focus on being present and aware of each moment as it unfolds. Simply being here in the peaceful surroundings of Sugar Ridge will support the nourishment of your body, mind and soul as you enjoy delicious vegan cuisine, acres of forest and trails, and cozy spots to curl up by the fire. Feel free to enjoy any or all of the orgainzed activities, or simply take the day to be still…this day is all about you!

8:30-9am      Arrival

9:00am         Opening Circle & Pranayama (breath practice)

9:30am        MindfulFlow Yoga with Jenny, or hike the woods with Athena

11:00am      Guided Meditation & Intention Setting

12:00pm      Lunch

1-2pm          Free Time

2:00pm        Mala Bracelet making workshop

3:30pm        Restorative Yoga with Athena

5:00pm        Departure

TUITION

You are welcome to create a personal getaway by adding an overnight stay in a cabin either the night before, or the night following your day retreat. 

Tuition for the day is $165 + HST and includes all classes and lunch

Cabin & Breakfast for the night before or same day is $189 + HST

 

MEET YOUR FACILITATORS

Jenny Jackson has been immersed in Movement Education for more than 20 years. Jenny is a seeker of inner well-being, and she consciously aligns herself living with an open mind, an open heart and embodies joy & vitality which is reflected in her welcoming & inclusive style of instruction. She teaches with a strong anatomical influence while still deeply honouring the classical roots of yoga. Jenny believes that feeling vital and in harmony with others & within our own selves is the primary goal (in life and in our bodies), and practice should reflect this.

 

Expect well-planned, responsible, creative & intuitive instruction within Jenny’s classes and retreats. Trust that your needs will be supported and a sense of inclusion & community will always be a focus. Jenny takes her offerings (but not herself) very seriously, so you can relax and be yourself as she leads with humour and vulnerability
