Join us for this special retreat that offers a different lens on how you view your life. Through discussion, meditation and asana (postures), we will look at the fear vs. heart spectrum and engage in practices that bring awareness to our reactions and compassion to our self‐judgments. Becoming less reactive to daily experiences and finding a place within to choose to respond from.
The tone of the weekend will cultivate honest attention and celebrate community which we are all part of. Our aim is to open the body and the heart so our sitting, sound and walking meditations are insightful and filled with mindful presence.

7:00pm Opening Flow and Restorative Yoga

Saturday
7:30 – 8:30 Meditation (Awareness of Fear vs. Heart)
8:30 -10:00 Breakfast & free time
10 am -11:30 Yoga with Kurt
12:00 Lunch
1:45 – 2:15 Walking Meditation
2:30 – 4:00 Gentle Yoga for the Heart with Kurt
4:00 – 6:00 Free Time – Hike, Read, Nap
6:00 Dinner
8:00 Evening Activity (Bonfire, Discussion, Sound Meditation)

Liz Frost M.A. Ed, is a certified yoga teacher and Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in the Midland area. She has studied with Jon Kabat Zinn and Saki Santorelli of the Centre for Mindfulness. Liz began her yoga journey as a form of meditation, having found meditation before yoga, and she incorporates mindfulness into yoga practice. She is co-owner of Sugar Ridge and devotes her time and energy to making the world a more peaceful place
