This Retreat is all about slowing down and preparing for the more yin-like energy of Fall and Winter ~ honouring your needs and surrendering to the cycles of nature and your body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Meet Your Facilitator
Jason and Laurin are a pair of wandering yogis who longed to create a space for people to find community, inspiration, and support. That dream has now grown into Kala Yoga, and extends to all of the wonderful yogis who share it with them!
In 2012, Jason and Laurin left Canada to explore the world for 2 years, venturing through Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. As they traveled, they were welcomed into many homes and experienced some of the innumerable ways that other people lived, and soaked up as much knowledge as they could. They spread their love for yoga and music wherever they went, and were inspired by the remarkable people they met who were affecting positive change in their communities. From activists to aboriginal peoples, hippies to high-schoolers, they saw that change was possible and returned home with a vision for their own community.
