You will glow from the inside out and feel radiant after three nights of stress free bliss.  Let Jenny guide you through a series of meditation and yoga classes in the serenity that is Sugar Ridge.  The studio is enveloped in natural sounds, and every window has a view to blooming flowers.  We’ll do the cooking and you do the eating!  Meals are vegan, gluten free and yummy.

Bring a friend or family member and unwind together or come on your own and meet new friends. This is truly an unspoiled area of natural beauty in which you can rediscover your relationship with the Earth, connect to your breath, your body and leave feeling refreshed and ready for what life tosses you next.

Beginner yoga students are very welcome and encouraged.  This retreat is perfect for anyone who just needs a little break from everyday life!

Retreat Schedule:

SUNDAY

3-5 pm  Arrive and settle in to your cabin
5pm – Introductions in the studio and review weekend agenda
6pm – Dinner 
7pm – Yoga for Relaxation & Meditation (no experience necessary – it’s guided!)

MONDAY 
7:30 am Rise & Shine Yoga
8:30 am – Meditation 
9am – Breakfast
11am – Yoga Glow Flow
12:30pm – Lunch
Afternoon Enjoy Outdoor Fun & Relax ( hike, read, book a massage or have a nap)

4:00pm- Happy Hips Yoga Class

6:00pm – Dinner
7:45pm – Sound Bath Meditation

TUESDAY IN SILENCE
Morning tea & fruit
8am – Morning Flow Yoga

8:30am- Meditation
9:30am – Breakfast
10:30am –Mala bracelet making workshop
12:30 pm – Lunch – mindful eating
1:30 pm – Guided meditation
2:30 – Hike – mindful forest walk
4:00 – Loving Kindness meditation
4:30 Silence ends – free time until dinner
5:30  Dinner
7:30 – Bonfire outside or Yoga Nidra

WEDNESDAY

Morning tea & fruit
8am – Morning Yoga
9:30am – Breakfast
10:30am – Hike the trails
12:30 pm – Lunch 
Depart at your leisure – stay as long as you like to enjoy the surroundings

Cost:

$665 + HST  shared accommodation, all meals, classes – up to 4 people share a cabin
$730 + HST semi-private accommodation, all meals, classes – 2 people share a cabin
$875 + HST  private accommodation, all meals, classes – private cabin all to yourself

Due to social distancing protocols, if you are attending the retreat on your own you must select semi-private or private rate.  If you are attending with others in your social or family circle and can share accommodation, please choose the pricing option appropriate for the number of people you register with.

In respecting the current social gathering the group size is limited to 15 people.  Yoga will be done outside, but meditation and guided relaxation will be in the studio – lots of space for social distancing.

Meet Your Teacher

Jenny Jackson has been immersed in Movement Education for more than 20 years. Jenny is a seeker of inner well-being, and she consciously aligns herself living with an open mind, an open heart and embodies joy & vitality which is reflected in her welcoming & inclusive style of instruction. She teaches with a strong anatomical influence while still deeply honouring the classical roots of yoga. Jenny believes that feeling vital and in harmony with others & within our own selves is the primary goal (in life and in our bodies), and practice should reflect this.

Expect well-planned, responsible, creative & intuitive instruction within Jenny’s classes and retreats. Trust that your needs will be supported and a sense of inclusion & community will always be a focus. Jenny takes her offerings (but not herself) very seriously, so you can relax and be yourself as she leads with humour and vulnerability.

Jenny is a certified and experienced schoolteacher, yoga teacher, personal trainer, group fitness coach, and Health & Wellness coach. Jenny finds her own sense of centering while mountain biking in the forest and enjoying her stand-up paddleboard. She is the founder of Body Balanced Wellness, which offers registered Yoga Teacher Training Programs, both online & in person.
