You will glow from the inside out and feel radiant after three nights of stress free bliss.  Let Jennifer Bascom guide you through a series of meditation and yoga classes in the serenity that is Sugar Ridge.  The studio is enveloped in natural sounds, and every window has a view to blooming flowers.  We’ll do the cooking and you do the eating!  Meals are vegan, nutritious and yummy.

Bring a friend or family member and unwind together or come on your own and meet new friends. This is truly an unspoiled area of natural beauty in which you can rediscover your relationship with the Earth, connect to your breath, your body and leave feeling refreshed and ready for what life tosses you next.

Beginner yoga students are very welcome and encouraged.  This retreat is perfect for anyone who just needs a little break from everyday life!

Retreat Schedule:

FRIDAY

3-5 pm  Arrive and settle in to your cabin
5pm – Introductions in the studio and review weekend agenda
6pm – Dinner 
7pm – Yoga for Relaxation & Meditation (no experience necessary – it’s guided!)

SATURDAY

7:30 am                   Rise & Shine Yoga 
8:30                         Meditation 
9:00                         Breakfast
11:00                       Mindfulness: Walking & Eating

2:00                         Guided Hike

4:30                         Gentle Yoga Class

Meet Your Teacher

Jennifer Bascom is a beloved yoga instructor with over 750 hours of training, and over 1000 hours of teaching. She found her way to Sugar Ridge five years ago and fell in love with the peace, beauty, and energy. She has been leading retreats here, there, and every where, ever since.

Her loving led classes are a sanctuary for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, from elite athletes to the injured or recovering athlete, from as young as you are to as old as 84! Each class is designed for the group she is expecting and is modified as necessary, to ensure a safe, soothing, and challenging experience for everyone. With a sense of humour and joy, as well as a gift for inclusion, Jennifer makes sure everyone feels welcome and accepted. Her yoga classes are for everybody and every body.
