Mindful Leadership Retreat

Monday, June 8 – Wednesday, June 10, 2020

Mindful Leadership Retreat

The Mindful Leadership Retreat is designed for women leaders that are focused on cultivating a team rooted in trust, peak performance and well being for themselves and their team.  Learn to use mindfulness to enhance your experience and effectiveness at work and in life. This retreat will focus on leading with courage, curiosity and compassion. The content is grounded in a highly practical and scientifically based approach to understanding mindfulness and the important connection to a thriving life.

Core Learning Areas

What is Mindfulness?  Through experiential learning, group discussion and self-reflection, we will examine the way mindfulness can change your life, your work, and the way you show up in your life.  How does mindfulness cultivate a thriving workplace?  What does the research say about mindfulness and work place and how it changes the brain for the better.

Courage, Awareness, Compassion, Vulnerability and Curiosity:  We will explore how these core elements are critical to our role as a leader and the role of mindfulness to cultivate and bring these elements to life.

Making it Last: You will leave the retreat with a clear plan to implement mindfulness practices into your daily routine at home and at work.  It doesn’t have to be time consuming to pay attention.  With an understanding of the application to work and life, you will want to make this your normal.

Desired Outcomes

The goal of this retreat is for you to leave with clear strategies to cultivate mindfulness everyday, to show up in your life in a meaningful way, and to lead your team from a foundation of compassion.  Using mindfulness you will be able to create a workplace where authentic communication is welcome,  where emotional intelligence is valued and productivity is enhanced through greater creativity and vulnerability as an every day way of being.  Vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness.  Realizing this allows you to find the help you need, lean on your team and lead them to greatness.  Your mindful focus as a leader will improve the engagement, productivity, morale and overall performance of everyone in your workplace – even if you work alone!
