Mindfulness Challenge 2016 isn’t your average fundraising event. It’s a feast of fitness-for-the-mind activities—from meditation to yoga to mindful dinner and back again, all designed get your compassion juices flowing.

This 4 hour meditate-a-thon is raising money to provide mindfulness training to folks with mental illness who cannot afford registration fees.

You can participate in the satellite event here at Sugar Ridge or you can support the cause with a donation.  Charitable receipts are provided upon donation.

Sugar Ridge Schedule

2:30 – arrive and set up your cushion, chair etc.retreats_9

3 pm – Welcome and first sitting

3:30 – Walking meditation – outside if weather permits

4:40 – Mindful movement with gentle yoga

5:30 – Vegan Dinner & mindful Eating

6:30 – final sitting

7pm – Depart at your leisure or hang around for tea & cookies
