Explore a variety of meditation techniques to reduce stress, improve mood and find inner joy to help you get through anything life offers.

Absolutely no experience or flexibility is required – If you’re breathing you’ll enjoy this day!   

Enjoy a relaxing day exploring the basics of meditation, guided relaxation, walking meditation and celebrating the beauty of June!

You will leave feeling energized after a day of relaxing!

An incredible vegan lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided.

Your Day of Bliss includes:

  • 9:00 am  – arrive and settle in – get familiar with our covid procedures:)
  • 9:30        – Introduction to Mindfulness – what is it?  why do it?
  • 10:30      – Mindful Meditation – we’ll try various techniques to still the mind; foster peace and joy within
  • 11:30      – Mindful Walking Meditation
  • 12:00pm – Eating meditation
  • 12:30      – Lunch, prepared with whole foods & plenty of love – eat on the patio weather permitting
  • 1:45        – Forest Bathing (guided, slow walk to explore mindfulness in the forest)
  • 3:15        – Mindfulness Practice, group discussion, Q&A
  • 4:00        – Loving Kindness Meditation
  • 4:30        – Tea, relax and depart at your leisure
  • Take some bliss home with you!

I wanted to thank you for leading and hosting such a wonderful day – Mindfulness Meditation – this past Wednesday.  You provided such a warm, inviting and calming environment.  Your guidance and facilitation was outstanding.  I could hardly believe the day went so quickly, especially wondering before coming whether I would be able to be engaged the full day without restlessness.  It was amazing.  I learned a great deal and the day was perfect in my recent effort to incorporate greater mindfulness and balance in my life with help of meditation. Meet Your Facilitator

Liz FrostLiz Frost M.A. Ed, is a mindfulness coach, certified yoga teacher and Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in the Midland area. She has studied with Jon Kabat Zinn and Saki Santorelli of the Centre for Mindfulness, Norman Feldman, Lee Lesser and most recently with Shinzen Young.

Liz began her yoga journey as a form of meditation, having found meditation before yoga, and she incorporates mindfulness into yoga practice. She is co-owner of Sugar Ridge and devotes her time and energy to making the world a more peaceful place

Join into Liz’s Yoga & Hike workshop June 23rd and create your own retreat – $230 + HST for both workshops.
