Rebalance Weekend Retreat

Find balance this weekend!
 
Be supported with the gentle guidance of  Andrea Leplae, sharing practices from Yoga (Hatha, Restorative, Vinyasa, Ashtanga) teachings, and Pilates, alongside Ayurvedic concepts, offering you tools to shift your balance, at home, at work and in your mindset. 
 
Balance is never a ‘set it and forget it’, right!  With constant change, eventually we learn to move with change, shift our perspective on things, and re-balance what matters, not forgetting the importance of self-care and self-awareness. This Retreat will help you better understand yourself, especially as we explore ‘Ajna’, the 3rd-Eye Chakra, the seat of self-knowing.
 
‘Blossom Yoga’ is Andrea’s own special formula of ‘undoing’, prior to ‘doing’ anything!  A typical class begins with Hatha, Restorative and Therapeutic poses, slowly building up to short Vinyasa Yoga sequences and more challenging asana.  There is no experience required and all physical abilities are welcome.
 
‘Blossom Yoga’ was originally created by Andrea in her job as a Youth Worker with pregnant Teens. She opened a dedicated facility in this in a much-needing community (2005).  Andrea has watched people unfold and recover, through the Blossom Yoga practice, from low self-esteem, self-harming, anxiety and addiction. It’s a good formula for anyone coping with life’s obstacles, be they emotional, physical or spiritual.  You may be surprised at how one weekend away can lead to a transformational experience for you!

FRIDAY
3-5 pm          Welcome and Settle in to your cabin
5-5:45           Pilates Matwork Series
6:00              Dinner
8-9:15           Restorative Yoga (come in your pyjamas!)
 
SATURDAY
7-8:15 am      Blossom Yoga
8:30               grab a warm drink, meet in the lounge, and explore ‘What’s my Dosha?’
9:00               Breakfast
11:00             Chakra Energy Balance Flow Yoga (and payal/ankelt-making)
12pm             Lunch & relax
2-4                 Free time, or book Thai Yoga Massage with Andrea $40 for 25 minutes
4:00               Yoga Asana Foundations with optional Photo shoot
6:00               Dinner
8:00               Restorative Yoga
 
SUNDAY
7:30 am     Blossom Yoga
9:00           Breakfast
11:00         Balance Meditation and Closing of Retreat

12pm         Lunch

Yoga/Pilates Teacher, Therapeutic Movement Instructor, International Presenter, Events Organizer, Studio Owner, BEd, HBSc, FIS, CPR-C, FFY, FP, Member of REPS Canada & FitPro UK,

Teaching: Matwork Pilates, Yogalates, Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Pre/Post Natal, Family Yoga, Yoga-Fit Seniors (incl. Chair-based), Post-Rehab Exercise and Therapeutic Movement for those with Neurological Impairment.

Andrea is a trained Physiologist from U of T, spent literally 2 weeks as a Science Teacher, but found a higher calling in Youth Work and Teaching Yoga.  She has owned and operated 3 yoga studios over the years, 2 in Dundee, UK, and 1 currently in Scarborough, Ontario called ‘FuZion Fitness & Yoga Studio’. She also teaches Pilates (original Matwork Series), Nordixx Pole Walking, Cardio and Strength small-group classes, and offers 1:1 Therapeutic Thai Yoga Massage. She surfs in the North Sea.
