Spring Cleanse: Ayurveda Inspired Meditation and Yoga Week Retreat
Sunday, April 23 – Friday, April 28, 2023
Get Inspired this week!
Spring is clasically a time to “Spring Clean” our homes…but how about our scared vessels…Our bodies!!
Join us at Sugar Ridge as we support and guide you through a 5-night retreat designed to nurture, nourish and restore your spirit from the inside out on this journey to inner and outer well-being.
Discover the beauty, vitality, awakening and peace found in living a life with Ayurvedic-inspired rituals and wisdom, Yoga, Meditation and Nature, every day. Explore a cleansing diet consisting of fresh morning juices and smoothies; plentiful raw lunches and a Kitchari-Cleanse style dinner.
For thousands of years, the science of Ayurveda has provided the path to optimum well being by encompassing all aspects of being human: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Now more than ever we are seeking ways back to ourselves as the busy distractions of urban living increasingly disrupt our ability to live a healthy, balanced life.
Discover your constitution (dosha) and explore how to develop your unique lifestyle that supports your health and vibrancy. Learn to use the power of food, movement, breath, nature and meditation to guide yourself towards a more conscious and creative way of life and living.
Explore how Ayurveda, with meditation and Yoga, can reveal the workings of your mind, emotions, and behaviours, leading you towards greater self-acceptance and peace within.
In addition to daily energizing and calming practices of Yoga and Meditation, Jenny will share the common-sense wisdom of balanced living, exploring simple ways to move closer to physical, mental and emotional health and healing.
You will be eating, moving, learning and listening to your inner guide throughout the six-day retreat. Daily sessions will provide guidance on living according to your dosha, exploring the 8-limbs of yoga, discussing daily routines (dinacharya), healing relationships with food, regular practice of yoga and meditation.
In the quiet and calm you will move inwards, and explore ancient wisdom to bring you into a more conscious future.
There is no former knowledge or experience needed with Ayurveda, yoga or meditation. No physical limitations prevent you from joining in to classes – use a chair if you need to.

Meet Your Facilitator
Jenny Jackson has been immersed in Movement Education for more than 20 years. Jenny is a seeker of inner well-being, and she consciously aligns herself living with an open mind, an open heart and embodies joy & vitality which is reflected in her welcoming & inclusive style of instruction. She teaches with a strong anatomical influence while still deeply honouring the classical roots of yoga. Jenny believes that feeling vital and in harmony with others & within our own selves is the primary goal (in life and in our bodies), and practice should reflect this.
Expect well-planned, responsible, creative & intuitive instruction within Jenny’s classes and retreats. Trust that your needs will be supported and a sense of inclusion & community will always be a focus. Jenny takes her offerings (but not herself) very seriously, so you can relax and be yourself as she leads with humour and vulnerability.
