Here at Sugar Ridge, we have been providing healthy, yummy, plant-based meals since we opened our doors 12 years ago! One of the most talked about features which retreat guests rave about is the food they enjoyed during their stay!  So much so that they demanded we write a cookbook (so we did). Now we’re bringing the good food of a retreat getaway to your door!

We’re passionate about the health and well being of people and the planet. And, since you are literally made out of what you eat, you feel great when you eat great food! You can read about our food philosophy here.

Delivering food to the local community has been a passion project for years but we’ve never had the time to get started.  While we’re temporarily closed to in-person guests, we have a unique opportunity to support the community with a food delivery service and get this idea off the ground. We’re excited to extend a weekly offering to you and your family. 

We’ve got elderly parents, and we understand you may want to feed them too. It’s simple for you to order a delivery to their door too – just note it on your checkout.

How it Works

  • Midland
  • Penetanguishene
  • Tiny (between Midland, Tiny Beaches Road, Wyevale and Concession 12)
  • Tay (areas along and including Port McNicoll, Victoria Harbour, Waubaushene and Port Severn)

DELIVERY DAYS

  • Wednesday between 11 am & 2 pm
  • orders may also be picked up at Sugar Ridge during the same time period

HOW TO ORDER

  • Pre-order online or by phone for delivery from our kitchen to your home.
  • Order by Sunday midnight for delivery or pick up on Wednesday.

ABOUT THE FOOD

  • Simple weekly menu with a soup, stew, hearty salad, entree and a dessert –  you choose what you want 
  • Everything we serve is plant-based, dairy-free, no eggs….i.e. vegan
  • Gluten-free available on request.

PRICING

  • Pricing will be consistent week to week.
  • HST will be added at checkout.

Peanut Stew
Peppers, sweet potatoes, chick peas, kale and corn simmered in a rich broth of tomato and organic peanut butter and warm spices.  This stew is a hearty meal on its own or it can be served over brown rice or steamed quinoa.

Marinated Bean Salad
Fresh green beans, chickpeas, kidney beans, celery, carrots and diced sweet peppers marinated in a tangy vinegar dressing.

The Fine Print Stuff

Delivery & Pick up Process

There is a minimum order of $25 before HST required to have free delivery. Orders under $25 will have a $5 delivery fee added to their account and will be charged to the credit card you leave on file.

We will deliver to your door between 11 am and 2 pm on the appointed delivery day. We’ll knock or ring the bell and leave your order at the door.  We will not wait for you to open the door. No contact is required between our delivery staff and you. We aim to please so feel free to provide any special delivery instructions in notes to your order. If you aren’t home when the order is delivered, we are not responsible for it being stolen. We ask that you try and be home during delivery times – or leave a note on the door with drop off instructions.

Pick ups can be made between 11 am and 2 pm on the standard delivery days at Sugar Ridge. They will be left inside for you to get, but, if you let us know ahead of time, we can have it outside waiting for you.

Payments

Payment in advance is required with every order. You can use a credit card with our secure online payment system.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel an order 24 hours before scheduled delivery we will happily give you a credit on account to use towards another order.
