Summer Solstice Yoga & Hike Day Retreat

Rejuvenate, Invigorate, Celebrate!

Join Liz Frost for a day of summer celebration!

Summer Solstice marks the transition to summer and the warmth to come.

With the current restricitons we’re doing things a bit differently.  Our day with a paddle has turned into a hike in the forest since the Wye Marsh is currently closed.  We’ll do yoga outside and use the studio just for meditation practice.  We have plenty of space for social distancing.

All levels are welcome to come and enjoy a wonderful
energizing day of relaxing hike in the forest trails, mindful meditation,
gentle outside yoga, walking meditation out in the medicine wheel garden.

You will leave feeling energized after a day of relaxing!

Absolutely no experience or flexibility is required – If you’re breathing you’ll enjoy this day!

Your Day of Bliss includes:

  • 9:30 am  – arrive and relax with fresh juice
  • 10:00 am  Yoga outside on the lawn – breathe in the pure, fresh, country air
  • 11:15 – Hike the forest – mindfulness practice of forest bathing –  Still the mind to foster peace and joy within
  • 12:30 Lunch on the patio – incredibly yummy and prepared with whole foods & plenty of love
  • 1:45 Mindfulness Practice – meditation with instruction
  • 3:15 Break
  • 3:30  Walk the Medicine Wheel – outside
  • 4:00  Loving Kindness Meditation
  • 4:30  pm Depart at your leisure
  • Take some bliss home with you!

You are welcome to extend your stay and join us overnight in a private forest cabin.  

Meet Your Teachers

Liz Frost

 

Liz Frost M.A. Ed, is a mindfulness coach, certified yoga teacher and Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in the Midland area. She has studied with Jon Kabat Zinn and Saki Santorelli of the Centre for Mindfulness, Norman Feldman, Lee Lesser and most recently with Shinzen Young.

Liz began her yoga journey as a form of meditation, having found meditation before yoga, and she incorporates mindfulness into yoga practice. She is co-owner of Sugar Ridge and devotes her time and energy to making the world a more peaceful place.

Cost:

Cost for the the day is $125 + HST

Cost includes lunch, snacks and all classes.

Registration is limited to 9 people.  In order to attend you must be COVID symptom free, have not travelled withing the 2 weeks prior to the retreat, not be immune compromised or live with someone who is.  Please stay safe and stay home if you are immune compromised in any way.
