Join artist-teacher Alysha Brilla (RYT) and yoga instructor Neesha de Jour on a holistic weekend retreat at the beautiful Sugar Ridge Retreat Centre nestled in the peaceful countryside of Georgian Bay. Whether this is your first time doing  yoga or you’ve been practicing for a while, you will be welcomed into a beautiful and safe space full of sharing and healing magic. This three day, two night yoga and meditation retreat will rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit. With yoga classes, group meditation, Reiki workshops and time at the beach, you will end your summer on a high note and leave the retreat feeling refreshed.

Sugar Ridge Retreat Centre Yoga Studio

Alysha Brilla (RYT) is a Juno nominated artist who received her Yoga Teacher certification in Rishikesh, India in 2014. There, she immersively studied both physical yoga asana and ancient yogic philosophy. She has been practicing yoga for seven years and teaching for two. With a special interest in yoga as a therapeutic application for anxiety, depression and stress, breathe work is used to uplift the mind and body. Singing is incorporated into her meditative practice and this flows over into the restorative part of her energetic classes. She aims to inspire her students and impart a sense of peace in their soul.

Neesha de Jour

Yoga found Neesha five years ago and had such a profound, healing impact in her life that she knew it was her calling to pay this gift forward for others. Neesha traveled to the island of Koh Phangan (Thailand) in 2013 to receive her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Training. She is trained in the styles of Vinyasa, Yin/Restorative, Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga and also holds additional certifications for Hot Yoga and Reiki healing. Her personal practice mixes Vinyasa and Yin/Restorative, and she incorporates yogic breathing techniques when running or strength training. Yoga has allowed Neesha to grow into a grounded, positive being whose mission in life is to share her passion and inspire her students in their personal paths of growing and thriving.

Friday:

3:00pm- Arrive at Sugar Ridge Retreat 
4:00pm- Introductions/Orientation
5:30pm- Vegetarian Dinner
7:00pm- Reiki Workshop with Neesha (Self Healing techniques)
8:30pm- Restorative Yoga with Alysha & Neesha

Saturday:

7:30 am- Group Meditation
8:30am- Vegetarian Breakfast
11:00am- Flow Yoga with Alysha
12:00pm- Vegetarian Lunch
1:00pm- Free time at beautiful Balm beach
5:30pm- Vegetarian Dinner
7:00pm- Healing song circle at the firepit

Sunday:

7:00am- Flow Yoga with Alysha
8:30am- Vegetarian Breakfast
9:30am- Hike in the woods
11:00am-Grounding Techniques & Pranayama with Neesha & Alysha
12:30pm- Vegetarian Lunch

Cost:

Early bird Retreat fee is $350+HST (until May1st, 2015)

All meals are prepared at the retreat centre with an emphasis on local, organic and healthy ingredients.
Tea and light snacks are available 24 hours a day.

Accomodations are nice wood cabins nestled in the trees with four people to a cabin.

Transportation will be available departing and returning to Toronto and Kitchener.
