Join Jennifer Bascom for an inspiring weekend of Yoga, meditation, outdoor fun and personal transformation. 

This weekend is fun, relaxing, rejuvenating and a welcoming of summer!  

Relax with the combination of gentle Yoga, and hiking.  Time in nature soothes your soul!  Exploring forest trails and soak up the fresh air and vitality of the peaceful surroundings.  Enjoy bonfires, forest walks, new friends and create sacred memories.  

Learn basic meditation techniques to calm your body, mind and spirit to help restore physical and emotional well being.  Who doesn’t need more of that?  Within the first two minutes of meditating, even for the very first time, your whole being shifts into a more healing, restful state.

Anyone can attend this retreat! No experience in yoga, meditation or canoeing is necessary. In fact, this is the perfect retreat if you are looking to explore new ways of being in the world or simply want a restful weekend away.  Make this weekend what you need – everything is optional!

Those with more advanced experience can benefit by taking their practice deeper.

3 – 6 pm       Arrive and settle into your cabin
6:00              Dinner
7:00              Gentle Yoga & guided meditation – deeply relax and arrive, grounded in your self

Saturday August 27

7:30 am        Rise & Shine Yoga
8:30              Meditation – start the day centered and calm
9:00              Breakfast
11:00            Mantras & Malas workship – make a bracelet to take home
12:30 pm      Lunch
1:30              Guided Hike in the forest trails
3:30              Drum Circle with Jessie
5:30              Dinner!! (Yummy)
7:00              Restorative Yoga with live music

Sunday August 28 – in Silence

7:30 am        Rise & Shine Yoga 
8:30              Meditation
9:00              Breakfast & free time to pack up your cabin
11:00            Break silence & closing circle/group discussion 
12:00            Lunch

Enjoy the ambiance, new friends and depart at your leisure.

 

Meet Your Facilitator!

Jennifer Bascom is a beloved yoga instructor with over 750 hours of training, and over 1000 hours of teaching. She found her way to Sugar Ridge five years ago and fell in love with the peace, beauty, and energy. She has been leading retreats here, there, and every where, ever since.

Her loving led classes are a sanctuary for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, from elite athletes to the injured or recovering athlete, from as young as you are to as old as 84! Each class is designed for the group she is expecting and is modified as necessary, to ensure a safe, soothing, and challenging experience for everyone. With a sense of humour and joy, as well as a gift for inclusion, Jennifer makes sure everyone feels welcome and accepted. Her yoga classes are for everybody and every body.
