Weekend Renewal Retreat: Yoga & Thai Massage

Take time for yourself to get away and completely de-stress by indulging in a weekend of nourishing and relaxing yoga and meditation practices.

Leslie from Yoga Grove and Courtney from Om at Home Yoga are thrilled to offer their fifth fabulous retreat here at beautiful Sugar Ridge!  Whether you are new to yoga and meditation and wish to learn the foundations of both and how to incorporate them into your life, or a seasoned practitioner seeking to deepen your practice, you will find this retreat both practical and inspirational.

Enjoy yoga and meditation each day, workshops on yoga philosophy and pranayama (breath work), and Leslie and Courtney’s signature restorative yoga with massage class – done in small groups of no more than 6 people at a time. Join us in our exploration of how these practices can transform your weekend, and learn practical ways you can bring yoga and meditation into your every-day and significantly improve your health as well as your outlook on life.

All activities and classes are completely optional, so that you can create your own retreat experience with us. And no previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary – everyone can learn and benefit from everything we experience together at this retreat.

Leslie is an experienced and skilled teacher who has been studying and practicing yoga for over 23 years, and sharing her love and knowledge of yoga with others since 2007.  

Leslie is a natural leader whose warmth, patience and passion for yoga combine to provide instruction that is deeply nourishing, inspiring and personally fulfilling. She prefers to work with individuals privately and in small classes in order for everyone to benefit fully from her detailed instructions, hands-on adjustments and individual attention.  With her caring support and guidance, students are able to develop a deeper understanding and increased proficiency in all aspects of their yoga practice. 

Courtney SundayCourtney Sunday

Courtney Sunday is an ERYT500 experienced yoga teacher with trainings from all over the globe. She learned Thai massage in Thailand, therapeutics in Bali and advanced anatomy in Prague. She loves to infuse her classes with humour and creativity and rarely does the same sequence twice. Her desert island pose is hero’s pose. When she is not yoga-ing, Courtney works as a freelance writer and spends way too much time tending to the needs of her spoiled animals. www.courtneysunday.com.
