KIND’s Winter Yoga Retreat is all about slowing down and growing your personal practice in a beautiful, natural space.

Grow Your Practice

You will be supported in your practice by three incredible teachers from KIND Yoga by Heart, teachers Ellen Reesor, Emma Drudge and Tina Addorisio.  Enjoy three days of deep breath, mindful practice and beautiful community connection. A typical day will include yoga and meditation classes, options for indoor and outdoor group-based or personal activities, plenty of time for relaxation, and organic, vegetarian meals. 

Schedule

Friday: 

Check In: Any time after 4:00pm 

5pm – Dinner

6:30pm-7:30pm – Opening Circle/Meditation

7:30pm-9pm – Practice 1

9pm – Free Time/Bed

Saturday:

* Day pass students have the option to arrive for the first practice, or during breakfast.

7:00-8:30am Practice 1 (SILENT PRACTICE)

8:45 Breakfast served (silence is broken) Free time until 10:15am

10:15-11:30am Practice 2 (optional)

OR FREE TIME (skiing, snow shoeing, board games, journaling..etc.) 

12:45 Lunch served  Free time until 2:15pm

2:15-4pm – Journaling workshop with Tina

OR Free time (skiing, snow shoeing, board games, nap, journaling..etc.) 

6:00pm Dinner served  Free time until 7:30pm

7:30-9pm Practice 3

Sunday:

7-8:30amPractice 1 (Silence)

8:45am Breakfast served (silence is broken) Free time until 9:30am

9:45am – Pack/clean-up

11:00-1:00pm Practice(Live Music Yoga)/closing circle

1:00pm – Lunch served

2:30pm – Departure

Cost:

Early bird rate is $385 + HST until December 30th, and $425 + HST afterwards

Retreat fee includes meals, shared accommodation and all classes.

Price of the retreat includes:
• Shared Accommodation
• All classes offered as part of the weekend retreat
• Three organic, vegetarian meals a day
• Healthy snacks, tea and coffee

Price of the retreat does not include:
• Transportation to and from Sugar Ridge Retreat Centre
• Rentals of cross country skis and snow shoes. (These can be rented at a very affordable rate from the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre.)
