Celebrate your Fall energy with a rejuvenating, colourful Fall getaway!
Only a quick jaunt from the city, this is just enough time to escape, relax and enjoy the company of other great women. You’ll also boot your body back into gear with healthy fresh-made meals, yoga and fitness classes and time outdoors to connect with Mother Nature.
Ideal for girlfriends, sisters, mother/daughter or a solo getaway. Who is an over-worked woman in need of some ‘She Time’. Hmmm I think that’s all of us!
Friday, October 13th:
* Take a bike ride or hike the trails
OR go to town and buy a trinket
OR take a walk on the beach
OR nap in your cabin!
5:30pm: Orientation, welcome, laughs
6:30pm: Communal Autumn Meal
8:00pm: Bonfire and stories
Saturday, October 14th:
7:30am: Morning Yoga Flow (for all levels – 75 mins)
9:00am: Breakfast
11:00am: Centre Barre or BodyResistance A fabulous muscle conditioning feel-good-class (60 mins)
12:30pm: Lunch
* Afternoon open for whatever you want to do, or join the optional excursion
* You can also book a massage with an RMT if you wish (must book in advance)
* You will also be able to book a 30-minute fitness assessment with MJ pro bono either Sat or Sun afternoon
5:00pm: Restorative Yoga (75 mins)
6:30pm: Delicious Dinner Feast
8:00pm: Women’s Fire Circle of stories and laughs
Sunday, October 15th:
6:30am: Room opens up for meditation (optional)
7:30am: Morning Yoga Flow (for all levels – 75 mins)
9:00am: Breakfast
11:00am: Dance Class – learn a fun, feminine & fabulous ditty!
1:00pm: Lunch

Melissa Jane Shaw – MJ has been teaching for the fitness and dance industry for 20 yearsl! Yoga came to her 17 years ago as a form of additional dance training, but evolved into an integral part of her lifestyle and teaching approach. MJ has taught at countless studios across Canada and the US and continues to teach at Verity, Elle Fitness & Social, and as part-time faculty at her alma mater, the University of Toronto/Sheridan College “Theatre & Drama Studies” program. Mostly, she teaches at her in-house studio in Bloordale, visits clients and teaches on her retreats. She has presented at canfitpro, Idea City and has been featured as a guest instructor on the Dr.OZ Show, Steven & Chris Show (CBC), Much Music, MTV, Discovery Network, Savvier Fitness videos and many more, inspiring people to get fit and connect with their bodies. MJ is also a professional choreographer and dancer who brings creativity, passion, athleticism and body awareness to her clients. MJ believes the collective energy of a group of people coming together to better themselves is inspiring and transformative. She’s thrilled to help navigate your journey and will lead you with encouragement, knowledge, positivity and a healthy dose of FUN.
