Our bodies are host to trillions of microorganisms! Each of us is like a little universe on the inside.  The human gut microbiome and its role in both health and disease has been researched extensively in recent years and studies point to its crucial involvement in metabolism, physiology, mental health and immune function. Eating for your body and brain, ultimately, means eating for a happy and healthy gut microbiome.  A healthy gut means a healthy life.
