The theme of the weekend is Growth

Autumn is a time for growth, for doing more of what you want, and less of what you don’t want so that you can ultimately love the life you’re leading. Ah, how great is that?

What do you want more or less of in your life, so that you can love the life you’re leading?

….seeing friends more, setting aside time to have adventures with your children while they still want your companionship, rekindling romance in your daily routine, calling a solitary hour a day your own, or just taking more walks in the dazzling sunshine?

Let this autumn be a time of great growth for you. Don’t let it pass you by… Ask yourself: what do I want more of in this season? What do I want less of this season? What needs to be cleared? What support do I need? How will I feel if I meet these desires?

The goal? To love the life you’re leading.

**This is your time…absolutely everything over the weekend is completely optional. You can sleep in, skip the early morning yoga session; listen to yourself and do what feels right for you. If a massage is the nurturing you need, we can book that for you. Allow this weekend to be the kindest gift you could ever give yourself and truly honor your needs.

This is a supportive women’s weekend created to take you out of your routine and fully nurture, release and rebuild.

Wine is not provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

beachCelina Close was introduced to yoga 12 years ago and initially she was not drawn to it as a result of her busy mind and her addiction to the gym high intensity training. She was re-introduced to yoga after a running injury and fell madly love with yoga more each time she stepped on her mat. She practices yoga in some form each and every day. Celina’s foundation for her yoga teaching style is the belief that yoga, like most things in life shouldn’t be taken too seriously. With this in mind, Celina’s teaching style is light-hearted. Her classes invite students to challenge themselves with humor and compassion, and to find their own practice through awareness of body, breath and mind. She believes that anyone can do yoga and commits to offering beginner workshops to introduce practitioners to the foundations of yoga in addition to teaching intermediate or advanced students. She completed her teacher training at iGita Studio, and teaches privates and small group classes at Zenbar Healing Studio. Celina is a Lole Ambassador. She is also an instructor at ArtHouse offering yoga programs as  part of a non profit initiative to expose yoga and art to those that may otherwise not afford it.

HeadshotChristine Fortier has been teaching The Pilates Method for 15 years. Bringing her Yoga Training (200RYT with kula Oakville) into her practice in 2007, has amplified her classes in a much more authentic and integrative manner. She brings to her classes a distinct variance of both fluid movements and, skillful and purposeful sequences. She elevates her classes with rhythm, joy and intention. Hatha Yoga is her primary style of teaching, but she uses music and heartfelt purpose to enhance the class structure and feel. She is also a Certified Pelvic Floor Specialist, (Bellies Inc.,) and has garnered all her experience-personal and work related, at helping women all over Ontario in rehabilitating, retraining and rediscovering their core integrity.

A single mother of one beautiful soul, Maya-Christine understands the importance of incorporating self care, self love and quiet time in her daily life. She is a self taught organic vegetable urban farmer, and has been using Mother Earth as one of her most prevalent teachers.
