  • Do you have internet access?

We offer reliable Wi-Fi in the main retreat centre, and limited connectivity in the cabins. Many guests choose this as part of their restful experience — a gentle opportunity to step away from screens. (If you need to stay connected, the guest office has great access.)

We’ll help you plan if you need to stay reachable for work or emergencies.

Here is a list of what we suggest you bring.

  • How do I get there?

  • Can I carpool?

If you need a ride or are able to provide a ride to Sugar Ridge, please indicate this when you book your stay with us. We will place you in contact with others. We cannot, however, guarantee a carpool. There are links to the bus service to Wyebridge and we would be happy to pick you up there if required. Please schedule this with us in advance.

  • Can I stay without being part of a group retreat?

Yes! If you’re looking for a personal getaway, a quiet solo retreat, a creative break, or time in nature, without joining a group retreat, you’re very welcome here at Sugar Ridge! Many people come simply to rest, reflect, write, create, or recharge in peaceful surroundings.

If there is a group retreat in session you must be mindful of the possible need for silence while they are in sessions.
