National Indigenous Peoples Day

Celebrate culture!

Embark on a transformative journey of cultural connection and holistic well-being as we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day at Sugar Ridge.

You are invited to honor and embrace the wisdom of indigenous traditions, fostering a deep understanding of the interconnectedness between mind, body, and spirit.

The day involves a morning filled with mindfulness practices rooted in ancient wisdom in the peacefulness of Sugar Ridge, and the afternoon will be spent at Sainte Marie Among the Huron with a variety of music, dance, education, story telling and fun – celebrating the diversity of cultures and welcoming everyone.

Delight in a beautiful lunch of locally-inspired cuisine that pays homage to indigenous culinary traditions, and discover the profound harmony that comes from aligning oneself with the natural rhythms of the Earth.

Join us on this special day to cultivate respect, unity, and a sense of balance within oneself, and to celebrate the rich tapestry of indigenous cultures that contribute to our collective well-being.
