Cultivating Peace: Mindful Movement and Meditation Retreat

Mindful Practices

Step away from the noise of daily life and into the quiet beauty of SugarRidge.

Cultivating Peace is a two- or three-night immersive retreat designed to gently support those with busy minds, overstimulated nervous systems, and full hearts seeking rest, clarity, and reconnection.

Nestled in serene natural surroundings, SugarRidge offers a sense of spaciousness and calm the moment you arrive. Rolling landscapes, quiet trails, and open skies invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and remember what it feels like to be held by nature. This retreat is an invitation to let the environment do some of the work for you—offering peace not only within, but all around.

Explore mindfulness practices to create a space of wellness from the inside out. Enjoy this time just for you as you experience practices in both movement and stillness, creating a blended balance of Yang & Yin energies in body, mind & spirit.

A full day of silence forms the heart of the retreat. This intentional pause from conversation and external input creates space for deep listening, nervous system regulation, and inner clarity. Silence becomes a gentle teacher, allowing you to reconnect with your inner landscape while being supported by a shared, intentional container of like-minded individuals.

Depending on your own unique needs, you may choose to participate in all, or perhaps, only some of the activities on the agenda. Rest assured that no matter what your current level of activity or ability, all of the practices are inclusive, and all participants are supported to ensure that everyone feels successful.

Leave feeling spacious, regulated, and rooted—carrying a sense of peace that extends beyond the retreat and into everyday life.

This is YOUR time

This retreat is especially supportive for those who feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, or disconnected—from themselves, from nature, or from community. Through mindful movement, meditation, time in nature, and shared intention, Cultivating Peace offers a pathway back to balance, softness, and steadiness.

You are invited to explore various forms of mindfulness meditations including sitting, walking and eating, as well as mindful movement through yoga and gentle exercise. No experience with yoga or meditation is necessary.

This retreat is perfect if you’re curious about it but not sure where to start. Everything during your retreat is completely optional. This is YOUR time. If you need to sleep in, then skip the early morning yoga session. Allow this time to be the kindest gift you can ever give yourself, and honour your true needs.
