The Heart of Georgian Bay offers every kind of water play you can imagine. If you venture out from the cottage, local theatre and awesome restaurants round out your vacation.
We have three cottages on the same property and all share the following amenities:
Private beach, fire-pit, dock
Use of canoe
BBQ
Bring your own boat and moor it here
Close to public boat launch in Midland
10 minutes from Midland
7 minutes to Penetanguishene, Kings Wharf Theatre, Discovery Harbour
Each cottage is rented for a week at a time from Saturday to Saturday, but occasionally a weekend rental is available.
Cottage #1 The Boathouse is perfect for a couple to getaway. Located right on the beach, you fall asleep with the lullaby of the water lapping at the shore, wake to a stunning sunrise and have a view along the beach in both directions.
1 bedroom with queen bed, linens are provided

Cottage # 2 The Forest Cottage is perfect for a family or group of friends to share. This is truly a Canadian cottage, built in the 1930’s, surrounded by forest. The cottage stays cool in the heat of summer, and is easily warmed in the fall with a wood stove. This cottage has 4 bedrooms, with plenty of space to lounge around on those lazy days of summer vacation.

Attic room with 2 double futons, and sitting area in dormer window
One bedroom with a twin bed, all linens are provided
Large living room with 2 sofas, armchairs, wood stove
3pc washroom, towels are provided
Deck with furniture for 6 is provided
Large eat in kitchen – table seats 6
Kitchen is fully equipped so no need to bring anything – even soap!
You need to bring personal toiletries, food & drink
Rate for one week $2200
Cottage #3 is The Beach House, is truly more house than cottage. This 4 bedroom house is big enough for 2 couples with kids to share. It is facing the water, with a large lawn and huge picnic table and many amenities of a luxury home.

All linens & bath towels are provided, please bring your beach towels
2 full 4 pc washrooms, one with a 6′ Jacuzzi tub

Registration Details
The cost for each cottage includes use of the beach, dock, canoe, kayaks, picnic table (with the Beach House only), BBQ (propane is provided) and all amenities listed above with the respective cottage. The beach is perfect for paddle boarding or wind surfing. Water levels are high this year so most of the beach has washed away exposing the stone underneath with a small sandy area.
We can stock your cottage kitchen with yummy meals of Sugar Ridge for an additional fee.
