Join Jenny for an inspiring weekend of Yoga, meditation, outdoor fun and personal transformation. 

This weekend is fun, relaxing, rejuvenating and a welcoming of summer!  

Relax with the combination of gentle Yoga, and hiking.  Time in nature soothes your soul!  Exploring forest trails and soak up the fresh air and vitality of the peaceful surroundings.  Enjoy bonfires, forest walks, new friends and create sacred memories.  

Learn basic meditation techniques to calm your body, mind and spirit to help restore physical and emotional well being.  Who doesn’t need more of that?  Within the first two minutes of meditating, even for the very first time, your whole being shifts into a more healing, restful state.

Anyone can attend this retreat! No experience in yoga, meditation or canoeing is necessary. In fact, this is the perfect retreat if you are looking to explore new ways of being in the world or simply want a restful weekend away.  Make this weekend what you need – everything is optional!

Those with more advanced experience can benefit by taking their practice deeper.

5 – 6             Introductions in the studio

7:30 – 9       Gentle Yoga & guided meditation – deeply relax and arrive, grounded in your self
 
Saturday 
7:30 am        Meditation – start the day centered and calm
8:30              Breakfast
10-11:30       Gentle Yoga 
12:00 pm      Lunch
1:30              Hike the local trails
3:30              head to the beach – afternoon swim
6:00              Dinner!! (Yummy)
7:30              Restorative Yoga  – Get Blissed and Relax!
9                   Bonfire (bring jokes and stories!)

Meet Your Facilitator!

Jenny Jackson has been immersed in Movement Education for more than 20 years. Jenny is a seeker of inner well-being, and she consciously aligns herself to live with an open mind, an open heart, and embodies joy & vitality which is reflected in her welcoming & inclusive style of instruction. She teaches with a strong anatomical influence while still deeply honouring the classical roots of yoga. Jenny believes that feeling vital and in harmony with others & within our own selves is the primary goal (in life and in our bodies), and practice should reflect this.

Expect well-planned, responsible, creative & intuitive instruction within Jenny’s classes and retreats. Trust that your needs will be supported and a sense of inclusion & community will always be a focus. Jenny takes her offerings (but not herself) very seriously, so you can relax and be yourself as she leads with humour and vulnerability. Jenny is a certified and experienced schoolteacher, yoga teacher, personal trainer, group fitness coach, and Health & Wellness coach. She is the founder of Body Balanced Wellness, which offers registered Yoga Teacher Training Programs, both online & in person.
